Private Dining Room (Irori)
Dinner for all ryokan guests is served in a private Japanese style dining room. The traditional style of this dining room is called irori.
Garden
Every room ryokan room at Yoshidaya Ryokan has a garden view, and large glass windows that open onto the garden. All ryokan rooms, with the exception of the Sakura Room (which overlooks a separate garden) have a view of Yoshidaya's inner court garden. This garden is on the original site of the garden that belonged to the retainer of Gujo Hachiman's former local feudal lord's. While not the original layout, major elements of the original design have been preserved.
